Amino Fried Rice made with Colman’s Original Amino Glaze
A colourful, umami-rich fried rice that brings together buttery aromatics, crisp vegetables, and the deep savoury sweetness of Colman’s Original Amino Glaze.
Heat the pan Place a large pan or wok over medium heat and melt the butter until it foams.
Sauté the aromatics Add onions and garlic with a pinch of salt. Sauté until fragrant and slightly golden.
Add vegetables & spice Stir in diced carrots and corn. Add chilli paste and toss until everything is evenly coated.
Glaze for flavour Pour in Colman’s Original Amino Glaze — about 2 tablespoons, or more to taste. Mix well so the vegetables absorb the glaze’s rich, caramelised flavour.
Add rice & eggs Push the mixture to one side, pour in the beaten eggs and scramble lightly. Add cooked rice and toss thoroughly to combine.
Finish & serve Sprinkle spring onions on top, toss once more, and serve warm.
