Garlic Mushroom made with Colman’s Garlic Aminos

A quick, flavourful side dish that turns everyday mushrooms into a garlicky, umami-packed treat — thanks to the deep, aromatic richness of Colman’s Garlic Aminos.

Ingredients

  • 200 g button mushrooms, sliced (or any mushroom variety)
  • 2–3 garlic cloves, chopped
  • ½ tsp paprika powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp chilli flakes
  • ½ tsp dried thyme (or rosemary/parsley as an alternative)
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2–3 Tbsp Colman’s Garlic Aminos
  • Salt – to taste

Cooking Instructions

  1. Prep the mushrooms
    Clean and slice the mushrooms evenly. Set aside.
  2. Heat the pan
    Warm olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped garlic and sauté gently until fragrant.
  3. Add the mushrooms
    Toss in the sliced mushrooms and stir well. Let them cook until lightly browned and tender.
  4. Season
    Sprinkle paprika, garlic powder, chilli flakes, thyme, and salt. Stir to coat evenly.
  5. Glaze with flavour
    Pour in Colman’s Garlic Aminos and toss for 1–2 minutes until the mushrooms absorb the sauce and become glossy.
  6. Serve
    Remove from heat and serve warm — perfect as a side dish, toast topping, or pasta add-on.
